Crazy spiders!

Found my front tree covered in spider webs this morning.  Had to share! Once again if my video is more than 10 seconds long, I can't post it.  I'll have to find another creative way to get it up here.  The video is much cooler.

Dirty Harry's Balcony

Well, our hike up Dirty Harry didn't turn out the way we would have liked.  We missed the trail head, which isn't surprising.  It wasn't marked and was very over grown. So we walked at least an extra mile or more.  It was dubbed an old logging road, but really was an old river bed that dried up.  Terah brought her old black lab, Madison, who became lame about a mile up and we turned around.  We plan on going another day--that will hopefully be sunny.  We had a new hiking companion--Leona--the more the merrier!  We ended up having a great day any way--we got to see the fire training facility as well as finding a new bike path for Chip and I.  It's called the Iron Horse Trail.  Washington has a program called rails to trails--meaning it's an old rail road tracks into walking/bike paths.   This one has tunnels (we will need head lamps as 1 tunnel is 2 miles long!) and bridges that we will have to bike over.  I hope Chip can handle that! We plan on going next year as there is quite an elevation gain and it might be too much for Chip's knee this year.

Alegria--Cirque Du Soleil

We went to see Cirque Du Soleil last night.  It was amazing as usual.   It must be hard to do a traveling show like that with every place being unique, but they found a way to make it work.  It's always beautiful, breath taking and funny.  The clowns between acts are always hilarious.  If you haven't seen a show, it's so worth the money.  No photography or video is allowed, so I am sharing the link.

A Visit From Friends

My friends from NH came for a visit.  We did many, many different activities.  The weather held out for the most part--the sun actually came out for a few afternoons.  Let's see we hit Pike's Market, went up the Space Needle, checked out the aquarium, took a harbor tour, spent a few hours at the Music Experience and Science Fiction Museum, and spent one and a half hours on the most embarrassing tour ever--the duck tour. Other than Seattle, we went to Salt Water State Park, checked out the international sand sculpture contest, and went to see the Snoqualmie Falls.   Enjoy the pictures!
