Gold Creek Snowshoe

Today we did our first snowshoe hike.  It was a blast.  I am really interested in how I will be feeling tomorrow.  It doesn't seem like you are lifting your legs high, but boy are you!!!!!!  Gold creek was a great first snowshoe as it does not have huge elevation gain....400 feet only.  It was very beautiful and worth the trip.  I've discovered snow is fun with the following stipulations:  I can drive to it on dry easy roads, I can leave the same day, and I don't have to shovel it while I am there!  Learned to dress in layers and didn't need as many as expected.  It's sweaty work!
